Spring Wardrobe Lust List…

Just a quick post for this dreary Monday as we are a house filled with bugs and I’m playing nurse to my son! I’m still trying to create the perfect capsule wardrobe (with a few fast fashion pieces thrown in to scratch my spending itch!) and after looking at where the gaps are, here are a few items that are on my Spring lust list…

Topshop Annabel Toe Cap Mid Shoe £29

Chanel they aint but cute they are! I’ve ordered these and I cant wait to wear them! I’m not great with ballet flats as they make me walk a bit like a duck, so the little heal on these should help get rid of the waddle! I also love These from Mango and These from Office.

ASOS Wrap Maxi Skirt £30

I love the frilled big check version of this skirt (Here) but I feel this would be much more practical for me (and my hatred for ironing!) Gingham is everywhere at the moment from shirts to frilly socks and I think this would be a great going into spring with my leather biker jacket and with a vest in the summer!

La Redoute R Essentiels Jumpsuit £49 with 30% off with code BIG30

I don’t own many jumpsuits as the whole going to the loo thing really bothers me (you know the bit where your trying to hunch everything up so nothing touches the toilet floor!) but this one I really like! Reminds me of one my mum wore in the 80s, although hers was in khaki green! It comes in 4 colours but this mustard shade is my favourite.

Marks and Spencer Gold Button Blazer £49.50

I love the look of a blazer with a Tee and it’s such a classic wardrobe staple for me as we come into the warmer months. I tried a similar version of this double breasted jacket in New Look last week (which I can only find in the sale online) It was petit and although I am only 5’2 it was a little short in the body and La Redoute have this one which currently has 30% off with code Big30.

And the final item I’m wanting to add is a pair of wide leg trousers.

I’m absolutely in love with these Rita Wide-Leg trousers from Isabelle Fox London…

Isabella Fox Rita Trousers £230

Yes they are a smidge out of my price range and would probably swamp me but they are totally dreamy! I love how they hang and the colour is beautiful. I’ve found a couple of high street alternatives, These from Marks and Spencer at £45, These Lavand trousers from ASOS at £30 and These from H&M at £29.99.

So there you have it! I’m hoping this will be a great starting point to update my wardrobe for the Spring. Have a great week and I hope you manage to avoid those awful bugs that are around at the moment!

Tracey xoxo
