Springing into Spring…!

*This post contains a gifted dress from Beach Cafe and bag from Joseph Ribkoff, all words and opinions are my own.

So after a teeny tiny taste of warm weather this week I’ve started to feel very excited about Spring! Before we know it we’ll be flashing our ankles and ditching the thermals and as much as I am a total knitwear junky, I do love the ease of dressing for Spring….no thousands of layers and no big coats! (Even the leg shaving bit can feel exciting! Theres nothing finer than a winter defuzz)

The warm weather has also put me into holiday booking mode. Normally by now I’ve got flights booked for our main family holiday and a mini break for Easter but this year, with everything that’s happened with my mum I just couldn’t face booking anything. Now we know that she is going to be ok I’ve been searching for flights and it looks like we’re going to be getting away in the Easter holidays.

Almost as if they knew that I was planning something I was contacted by Beach Cafe, they asked if I had any upcoming trips and if I did would I like to choose something from their collection! They have the most beautiful range of swim and resort wear, so it would have been impossible to say no! I honestly felt like a kid in a sweet shop!

It was so hard but I eventually chose the Ari Midi dress by Faithful the Brand…

I am a huge fan of Faithful the Brand, their prints and designs are so beautiful! I was worried that at 42 I may be a little old for their dresses but I’m happy to say I am definitely not! The cut is so flattering and I love the little puff sleeves, brilliant at hiding the top of your arms if, like me, it’s not your most toned part! I also love that this is the type of dress that you could easily wear with an oversized knit when the sun isn’t quite warm enough and it would also look amazing with a biker boot and leather jacket when we head back into Autumn.

I was also luckily sent this fantastic vacation bag from Joseph Ribkoff

I love how it has the pouch inside to hide all of my personal belongings! It’s a really great size too, I’ve given it a holiday dry run with 2 towels, suncream, my make up bag and all of the bits Ellie needs!

I think we will be heading back to Florida in April (well if I have my way!) It really is one of our favourite places to go and this year we just need something familiar so I’m thinking we’ll do part stay in Orlando so we can have some fun at the theme parks then head off to the Gulf coast for some relaxing on the beach!

As always thank you for reading, I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Tracey xoxo
