Its December!!! I’m feeling so festive this year which makes such change from last year when we were still DIY-ing up until Christmas Eve and everything felt like a total rush! We are still busy in the house (we decided that we’d fit a bathroom upstairs because we are clearly mad!) but there is no mess downstairs so I’ve been able to get the tree up early (I’m sorry if you’re someone who isn’t ready for all the Christmas spam, I promise I’ll try to keep it down 😉) and I think that it’s about time I can start looking for what I’m going to wear on Christmas day! If I’m completely honest the dream would be me staying in my PJ’s all day but we have family staying over (I’m cooking for 10!) so I really feel I should make a bit of an effort!
I want something sparkly, I love sequins at this time of year so I’m definitely on the hunt for some glitz but it also needs to be practical, cooking a Christmas lunch is a hard sweaty job! so I need something thats not going to inhibit me form being a total domestic goddess!! Warehouse have the best Party dresses* and amazing sparkle this season and I’ve fallen head over heals with this skirt…
I think this would look so good with a basic white tee and sneakers or if you’re feeling it, how about the matching sequin top….
How amazing is this!! I think this paired with black leather jeans would look incredible!!
If you’re not one for the sparkle how about this fabulous Zebra print dress…
I love the wrap waist, this is a great way to hide the Christmas food baby (mine will be 30% Turkey, 20% Fizz and 50% Cheese!) the back has a cheeky surprise too… 😉
My final option is this H&M dress, its giving me all the modern day Mrs Clause vibes!
I’m thinking patterned tights and black hiking boots…. Yes this is very very good!!
